Textures: Before & After

As a designer, texturing is one of my favorite parts when it comes to finishing a graphic. Some use one flat texture over the entire thing, whereas others have several brushes involved. This almost becomes art by itself, trying to create the correct vibe needed for the project by taking parts of the graphic away, adding some back, and repeating. This almost feels painterly at times. We can't spend too long here in our design process though, as these graphics need to get out the door, but it is cool to see what can be achieved.

Below, I wanted to showcase some of my past approved graphics with a before and after texture process. It's interesting to see how turning off one layer mask can change the entire dynamic of a design. Some of these are more subtle, others destructive, and some using several textures to create one final image.
